Women's Schedule Announced
The Women's Hockey Team will take to the ice on September 29th at Cheel Arena this year. Hockey in September? Spectacular! The team, which will be entering their fourth season, will be stacked with experienced players, along with the addition of some solid recruits, and yes, they are NCAA eligible. Beausoleil Transfers
Senior defenseman Nathan Beausoleil has left Clarkson to play for St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In 3 years at Clarkson Nathan played in 43 games, scoring 2 goals and registering 9 assists. Best of luck to Nathan and to St. Mary's.

Fletcher Leaves for North Dakota
Last week, University of North Dakota announced that defenseman Kelsey Fletcher has joined the Sioux squad after her Freshman season at Clarkson. Fletcher had a one goal and three assists, with a +9 skater rating for the Knights, and will likely make a major impact for North Dakota who went 7-27-2 in 2005-2006. Parker to Launch Carleton Program
Former Clarkson coach Fred Parker has been named the first Men's Ice Hockey coach at Carleton University. Parker, who was an assistant at Clarkson, took over the head coaching duties of the Golden Knights after Mark Morris' release during the 2002-2003 season. He'll be building the Carleton University Raven's team from scratch, starting with an 18 game exhibition schedule this season, and

Cole Back on the Ice, Carlson Center
Former Clarkson standout, and Carolina Hurricanes star Erik Cole finally got a chance to hit the ice in practice after suffering a devastating injury in March. Hurricanes fans are still holding out hope that Erik will get a chance to play in the Conference or Stanley Cup Finals if the Hurricanes advance. It's not that we don't like hockey...
It's just that when we're not involved, there's not much to say.Of the Clarkson Alums still vying for the Stanley Cup, only two remain, Todd Marchant of the Mighty Ducks and Erik Cole of the Carolina Hurricanes.
