The NHL trade deadline came and went at 3:00pm today. Former Knight, defenseman Willie Mitchell was traded to the Dallas Stars along with a 2nd round pick. The Minnesota Wild received defenseman Shawn Bell and Martin Skoula in return. This does leave open the tantalizing possibility that Mitchell could some day be paired with former Knight Matt Nickerson to form one of the nastiest D combinations
