Clarkson Returns to the North Country

I will be heading up to Clarkson this weekend and as a by-product of the trip will be catching the home-opener against Acadia University on Saturday where they will face the Axeman. The Axeman have opened up the season 0-2 and have not faced an NCAA opponent this season. After they take on the Golden Knights, they'll head over to match-up against UVM. Huskins, Marchant, Ducks Take Cup
For the second year in a row, the Stanley Cup will add former Clarkson players to it's historic list of names.With a 6-2 victory at home over the Ottawa Senators, the Anaheim Ducks won their first Stanley Cup. Two New Recruits plus Stanley's Cup
Clarkson has announced two new recruits for the 2008 season. Michael Kosziwka joins the team out of the OPJHL where he racked up 62 points, 28 goals and 34 assists. This week's CHF ECAC Hockey Trivia question should be an easy one for those who attended the tournament last weekend in Albany.Q: How is it possible to be eliminated from the ECACHL Tournament twice?(answer at the bottom of the post.)What a weekend! Conroy Returns to Calgary
Former Clarkson Golden Knight Craig Conroy was traded by the Los Angeles Kings to the Calgary Flames earlier this evening for Jamie Lundmark and two draft picks. Fit To Be Tied
Much like the previous evening against Colgate, Clarkson found itself playing an extra five minutes.
