Huskins, Marchant, Ducks Take Cup

For the second year in a row, the Stanley Cup will add former Clarkson players to it's historic list of names.With a 6-2 victory at home over the Ottawa Senators, the Anaheim Ducks won their first Stanley Cup. Todd Marchant and Kent Huskins will join Erik Cole (Carolina '06) and Colin Patterson (Calgary '89) as Stanley Cup Champions.

Two New Recruits plus Stanley's Cup

Clarkson has announced two new recruits for the 2008 season. Michael Kosziwka joins the team out of the OPJHL where he racked up 62 points, 28 goals and 34 assists. The athletic department released the schedule for the 2007 - 2008 season today.Clarkson looks to stay competitive on the PWR scene by playing seven teams from last years NCAA tourney.The season opens with an exhibition at Cheel against Acadia, followed by a rematch of last years heartbreaking NCAA loss against UMass. Clarkson captain Nick Dodge was named a second team east coast All American by the coaches yesterday. Dodge becomes Clarkson's 35th All American.However the bigger honor might be receiving the Golden Bonesaw.
